Introduction to Bagheera
Bagheera is a small, family-founded trust co-managed with professional support. We look to fund work that opens up opportunities that would otherwise be denied our beneficiaries. Our remit is to support work for people up to the age of 35. We have chosen to focus on this age group and on projects in the arts, education and women’s health because of our personal experiences and backgrounds.
Why Bagheera?
We set up Bagheera in order to share our experiences and expertise. We come from modest backgrounds but have been fortunate enough to benefit from plenty of opportunities in life thanks to access to good education and supportive families and friends. In turn, that has led to many more opportunities in paid and voluntary work, and in the interests we have been able to pursue and the friendships we have made through them. Through the Bagheera Trust, we hope to open up similar possibilities for others who have not yet had those chances.
